Town of Mesa
The Wagon Wheel has been here for more than 30 years. It was completely remodeled 3 years ago and is more beautiful than ever,
with a new landscaping project planned for the Spring 2012.
The town of Mesa was established in 1882. It has survived incredible times of turmoil and devastation. It is
a true testament to the spirit and strength of the people of western Colorado and their dedication to the beauty that surrounds this
As business owners, the Wagon Wheel is dedicated to the concept of sustainability and local commerce. We support local vendors, purchasing
the vast majority of our product line from other small western slope businesses. We buy as much local produce as we can
when its available. All of our employees are local friends and neighbors. The Wagon Wheel is a family-owned business with
a vested interest in the community of Plateau Valley and its surrounding areas. We are proud to be a part of the Community and
want to do our part in supporting its continued growth and success.
Mesa is located next to the Grand Mesa National Forest. Its recreation is endless, from fishing the over 300 natural lakes,
to hiking the Crag Trail which peaks at 11,000 feet, to bird and wildlife watching which is abundant, bicycling, four wheeling, skiing,
snowmobiling, when you are here you will not be disappointed in what we offer.
